At our recent weekly Rotary Club meeting, we had the pleasure of hearing from Joanna Montana, Executive Director of Wickenburg Habitat for Humanity. Joanna shared exciting updates about how we can all come together to build a stronger, more supportive community.
While Habitat is actively processing applications to build a new home in Congress by 2026 and planning multiple new homes right here in Wickenburg, they aren't waiting to make a difference. To address immediate needs while navigating the permitting process, Habitat has stepped up to fund essential home repairs for qualifying neighbors. This wonderful initiative ensures that those who need help the most receive it right now, perfectly aligning with our shared mission of uplifting one another.
But to make these vital projects happen, they need our community's hands and hearts. Serving others not only transforms the lives of families in need, but it also enriches our own lives and strengthens the bonds we share as neighbors. Habitat is currently looking for volunteer contractors, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople to join this meaningful effort.
Your skills can help build a safer, more connected community. Reach out to Wickenburg Habitat for Humanity today to volunteer your time and expertise. Every effort counts, and together, we can make a lasting impact!
